Percival Landing Facility Repairs

PERCIVAL LANDING FACILITY REPAIRS

The City of Olympia has contracted with MVG, LLC to begin facility repairs at Percival Landing beginning Monday, November 30, 2009.  This project will include freeboard and float repairs, timber cross-bracing and pile repairs, gangway transition plate extensions, float repairs and other work.  The project is anticipated to be completed by January 15, 2010.

INTERMITTENT CLOSURES

During these repairs, there will be intermittent closures of portions of the boardwalk and boat ramps, as well as limited access to the docks.  Some repair work will occur at off-hours and at night to accommodate the low tide.  The parking area and a portion of the boardwalk, located immediately west of the Les Schwab building at 210 State Ave. NW, will be used for the contractor's staging area and therefore will be closed to the public.

QUESTIONS

If you have questions about the project, contact the Parks, Arts and Recreation Department at 360.753.8380.
