Transportation Master Plan Open House
Open House Monday, September 24th
The City is working on a Transportation Master Plan. Olympia is growing, and we need to plan a transportation system that will keep everyone moving. Please help us shape the plan. We have two upcoming opportunities to do that:
- In person. Join us for an open house on Monday, September 24, from 6 - 8 p.m. at City Hall in the City Council Chambers. We will give a 30-minute presentation starting at 6 p.m. to explain the work we have done so far. After that, we hope you will stay and share your thoughts and feedback with City staff.
- Online. From September 24 through November 1, we will have an online opportunity at olympiawa.gov/TMP for people to learn about the plan and give us feedback.
The Transportation Master Plan will define the projects we need to build in the next 20 years for all modes of transportation: walking, biking, transit, and auto/freight. It will make it easier for people to understand what projects we are planning to do, how we will pay for them, and if we are on track implementing the vision of the City’s Comprehensive Plan.
