Olympia Crossings: West Bay Public Art Meeting
Public Workshop for the first Olympia Art Crossing to take place March 21, 7pm, Garfield School
The community is invited to meet public artists Lin McJunkin and Milo White, who have been selected as project artists for the first Olympia Art Crossings, located on West Bay Drive, and provide neighborhood context for them as they develop their concept plan for the artwork. The meetings is in the multipurpose room of Garfield School, 325 Plymouth St NW, on March 21, 2019, 7pm. The meeting is open to everyone, but particularly for residents in neighborhoods closest to the site: NWONA, West Bay Drive and Burbank Elliot.
The West Bay Drive Art Crossing is part of a larger City project to place public art deep into Olympia’s neighborhoods, contribute to a sense of community identity, and introduce place making elements that help to define and bring together different areas of our community.
