Update/Revised Project Description
Revised plans reduces the scope and scale of the project previously proposed. Project includes construction of a 34,000 square foot three-story mixed-use building with 17 residential units (previously 40), a small food store, fitness area, community flex space, and clock tower. village green, and off-street parking. Accompanying this application is a Master Plan Amendment Application to address the discrepancies between the Master Plan Designs, Preliminary Plat Approval conditions, and the project design.
The City is currently conducting a substantive review of the project to determine Municipal Code Compliance. Following that review, the City will either send a substantive review letter asking for revisions or making a recommendation of approval or denial. Only if the project is found to be in compliance with all applicable municipal codes would the project be approved. The project is also being reviewed by applicable outside agencies and by members of the community. This proposal includes an amendment to the master plan. Both the amendment and project proposal are being processed under the same timeline. The first public comment period ends on December 1, 2020 at 4:00pm.
