Featured Projects
Four major streets in the Downtown core are slated for improvements over the next several years.
Minor street improvements and signal operation changes on State and 4th Avenues will help buses move through Downtown quickly and efficiently. Installation is scheduled for fall of 2019.
The project at the East Bay Drive and Olympia Avenue intersection will improve traffic flow and safety for all users. Construction is scheduled for Summer 2020 and the estimated cost is $374,000.
The City is moving forward with plans to improve Fones Road. The project area is the entire length of Fones Road between 18th and Pacific Avenues. Construction is scheduled for 2022/202.
The City is reviewing a preliminary plat application for the subdivision of 50 acres into 181 single-family lots with associated improvements for streets and utilities.
Proposal to subdivide 7 acre site located at 3840 Harrison Avenue NW to create 5 commercial lots for future mixed use development.
Proposal is to subdivide one parcel into 24 single-family lots, and five tracts established for stormwater, trees, a pedestrian trail, open space, and a private access road.
The City is reviewing a preliminary plat application for the subdivision of 9.4 acres into 56 single-family lots with associated improvements for streets and utilities.
Construction of three buildings containing a total of 86 residential units, parking for 73 vehicles, and approximately 8,500 sq.ft. of commercial retail space along State Avenue.
