Downtown Commuter

The Downtown Commuter Program offers new services and incentives to Downtown employees to encourage walking, biking, riding the bus, carpooling, and vanpooling.

New Services for Downtown Employees

We have information on:

Who is Eligible for the Downtown Commuter Program:

All participants in this program must work within the Downtown core, which is defined by Market Street to the north, Eastside Street to the east, Maple Park Drive to the South, and the bridges to the west.

Currently, participation in the Downtown Commuter Program is only open to employees of non-CTR affected sites in the Downtown core. Employees at CTR-affected sites are eligible for the Capitol Commutes Program. Go to www.intercitytransit.com for more information on that program. Any exceptions to this rule have to be approved by the program coordinator.

People working at Commute Trip Reduction affected sites, such as most State agencies, are not eligible for these services. They have ongoing commute programs, and should check with their Employee Transportation Coordinator to see what is available to them.

Downtown Employers:

Your help is needed to promote these services. Learn more about how you can help and get involved.

Tracking Your Trips:

All program participants need to track their trips on a Monthly Commute Calendar.
