The City of Olympia offers the following green options and incentives:

Water Conservation:

The Public Works department offers the following items to City of Olympia water customers to asssit them in their conservation efforts.

• Hose repair kits: Need to fix a leaky hose? Find out how to get a free hose repair kit.
• Rain barrel rebate: City water customers can receive a rebate of up to $20.00 each for the purchase of up to three rain barrels, find out how.
• Water saving kits: Find out how to get your free kit to help save water, reduce wastewater flow, and save money.

Reducing Waste:

Olympia is working toward zero waste. The following tools are meant to assist customers in helping us reach our goal of zero waste.

• Zero Waste Event Planning Guide: Learn how to put sustainability into action by looking for ways to reduce waste.
• Zero waste gift giving ideas: Suggestions for gift giving - including what type of gifts to give, and creative ways to wrap them, that reduce waste.
