- Consider renting instead of buying.
- Choose long-lasting, durable items instead of disposable.

- Buy rechargeable batteries; you can reuse them over and over again.
- Reuse gift wraps and cover-ups.
- Invest in reusable cloth shopping bags instead of using paper or plastic.
