Drop-off Site Opens for the Season:

The drop-off site reopens for the 2010 season on Saturday, March 6, 2010. It is located at 1401 Eastside Street, SE, Olympia. The site is open every Saturday through November 20, 2010, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. We accept yard debris and scrap metal at the site.

Need Another Option?

• You may take your material to the yard debris site at the Thurston County Waste & Recovery Center, located at 2418 Hogum Bay Road, Lacey. Call 360.786.5494 for more information.
• Olympia garbage customers can get year-round curbside organics service for regular, ongoing needs.
• Households and businesses can request a temporary drop box or dumpster (containers) for larger quantities of yard debris by calling 360.753.8368, and selecting option 2. Fees depend on the size of container and the number of times we empty it. Temporary containers require a 2-day delivery notice.
• You can compost it at home.
