Smart Controller Rebate Program

Residential water customers can receive a 50% rebate, up to $200!

Smart irrigation controllers automatically adjust watering times based on weather conditions to provide optimal moisture for healthy plants and conserve water.  If you have an in-ground irrigation system with a standard controller, you could see water savings of up to 30% by upgrading to an approved smart controller!

Eligibility

• Rebates are available to residential customers who receive City of Olympia water service.
• Rebates are for 50% (not to exceed $200) of the installed cost. 
• Rebates will be given only for approved models; download our Fact Sheet for a list of approved smart controllers.
• Smart controllers must be installed and programmed by a licensed irrigation contractor.
• Rebate application must include the original dated sales receipt and labor invoice.
• Rebates are for new devices only; pre-existing smart controllers are not eligible.
• Prior to approval, an on-site inspection may be required by the City of Olympia.
• Only one rebate will be issued per property.
