Transportation Mobility Strategy

The purpose of the TMS report is to recommend options for a multimodal transportation strategy that is consistent with, and helps achieve, the City’s vision and policies in the Comprehensive Plan. The City seeks to develop a transportation system with a balanced approach to all people and all modes of travel. This goal is articulated through the City’s Comprehensive Plan transportation policies, which direct the City to reduce dependence on motor-vehicle use and support bicycle, pedestrian, and transit use.

The Transportation Mobility Strategy was accepted by the Olympia City Council on August 4, 2009. It can be viewed or printed by section below.
