Olympia Police Facilities

Main Police Station
601 Fourth Avenue East

The customer service desk located in the main station at 601 4th Avenue E is open Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, except City recognized holidays.

Approaching from the south (Portland), take I-5 Exit 105 toward the Port of Olympia. The Exit will curve around back under the freeway and end at the traffic signal on Plum Street. Turn left at Plum Street. Go straight ahead to State Avenue. Turn left on State (State is one-way to the left). Go two blocks to Cherry Street. Turn left on Cherry. The first street after you turn will be Fourth Avenue and the City Hall and Police Station are across Fourth Avenue to your left. Fourth Avenue is one-way to your left. Parking is available on all sides of the facility.

Approaching from the north (Seattle), take I-5 Exit 105 toward the Port of Olympia. The Exit will become Plum Street. Go straight ahead to State Avenue. Turn left on State (State is one-way to your left). Go two blocks to Cherry Street. Turn left on Cherry. The first street after you turn will be Fourth Avenue and the City Hall and Police Station are across Fourth Avenue to your left. Fourth Avenue is one-way to your left. Approaching from the north (Seattle), take I-5 Exit 105 toward the Port of Olympia. The Exit will become Plum Street. Go straight through the signals at Henderson Boulevard and Union Avenue. The Olympia Justice Center and Jail are in the first block past Union Avenue on your right.

West Side Station
221 N. Perry Street NW

This station has no walk-in services.

The West Side Station is located on Perry Street, just north of Harrison Avenue. From Capitol Way, take State Avenue to the west (State Avenue is one way to the west. It will merge into Fourth Avenue and become two-way). Cross the bridge and bear to the right at the first traffic circle. Go three-fourths of the way around the second traffic circle and continue up the hill to the first signal (Perry Street). Turn right at the signal on Perry Street. The Station is at the end of the first block on the left. There is no service desk open to the public.

Police Training Facility (Firing Range)

The firing range is not currently open to the public. Law enforcement agencies wishing information about use of the facility should contact Lt. Bill Wilson at 360.753.8255.

Approaching from the south (Olympia, Portland), take I-5 Exit 109. Turn right on Martin Way. Go straight on Martin Way to the third traffic signal (Carpenter Road). Turn left on Carpenter Road. Turn right at the alley immediately behind the tanning business. The alley leads to the Training Facility.

Approaching from the north (Seattle), take I-5 Exit 109. Turn left on Martin Way (back under the freeway). Go straight on Martin Way to the fourth traffic signal (Carpenter Road). Turn left on Carpenter Road. Turn right at the alley immediately behind the tanning business. The alley leads to the Training Facility.
