The Volunteer In Parks Program offers volunteer work parties on most Saturdays, RSVP or just show up - everyone is welcome! Tools, gloves and some refreshments are provided. Please contact Todd Smith at 360.753.8365 or by email at tsmith@ci.olympia.wa.us for more information.

- Yashiro Japanese Garden
September 26 - LBA Park, 9am-Noon
Park beautuifation work party.
October 3 - Friendly Grove Park, 9am-Noon
Mulch and weed work party.
November 7 - Kayak and Boathouse Cleanup, Noon-4pm
Meet at Swantown Marina boathouse (follow volunteer signs) to help clean kayaks and equipment and organize the boathouse for the winter. We'll also head out for a short kayak tour (weather permitting)!
November 21 - Preist Point Park, 9am-Noon
English ivy removal. Meet at Shelter #2 on east side of park.
December 5 - Decatur Woods Park, 9am-Noon
Invasive species removal.
December 12 - Watershed Park, 9am-Noon
Yellow Archangel removal. Meet at the Olympia Woodland Trailhead at 1600 Eastside St. SE.
Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes or boots that can get wet and muddy. Youth under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult and all youth under 18 years must have a signed Waiver and Medical Alert and have a parents' signature on the sign- in roster at the project work site.
