Rental Guidelines

  • *Large meeting Room B requires a $50 refundable deposit for all reservations. All other large and standard meeting rooms require a $50 refundable deposit if serving food and/or beverages.
  • Time reserved must include set-up and take-down of room.
  • Events serving alcohol are limited and require additional fees & permits. Rentals requesting liquor require a minimum 75 day notice. Contact Customer Service at 360.753.8380 for more information.
  • Use of Main Kitchen requires a pre-event orientation.
  • Reservations made in person at The Olympia Center or over the phone will be tentatively held for 48 hours.
  • No reservation may be finalized without a signature and full payment including deposit, if required.
  • Rental requests for reduced hours or extended hours are subject to availability and additional restrictions.
  • Renters are financially responsible for any damage to equipment or property and for any additional personnel costs that may result from facility use. Examples of damage include chipped paint due to use of tape, staining to floors or carpets, breaking or defacing furniture, missing items, etc.
  • Deposits will be refunded if all regulations and requirements have been satisfactorily met and if no damage to the facility has occurred.

Cancellation Policy

At least 30 working days’ notice of cancellation is required to receive a full refund, less a $5 fee. Cancellations received less than 30 days before the reserved date will result in a 50% refund of the rental fee. No refunds will be given due to inclement weather (unless the building is closed) or violation of facility use rules and regulations. Office hours for cancellation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-7:30 PM and Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, except holidays.
