Park History:

In 1946 the Olympia Lions Service Club and Eastside Neighborhood Association joined hands to show their community pride. This strong alliance of neighborhood and City interests has continued through the years. Today the park is well used by residents of the Eastside Neighborhood and other residents of the City.

Park Improvements:

Additional improvements will be made to Lions Park in 2012.  These include demolition of the old picnic shleter, new roof over the existing restroom building, construction of a new picnic shelter, accessible parking space, and paved accessible trails.
