Olympia Woodland Trail (OWT) Feasibility Study

The OWT Phase 4 Feasibility study has been completed and is available for public review and comment. The study looked at potential alignments for the trail from Henderson Boulevard to Tumwater Historical Park. The City will hold a public meeting on Wed., August 27, 2014 at 6 p.m. at The Olympia Center, 222 Columbia St. NW to review the study and answer questions.  Please submit written comments to Kip Summers, Project Engineer, at ksummers@ci.olympia.wa.us by August 29 at 5 p.m.

Percival Landing F Dock Replacement

The moorage floats at F Dock are currently closed and will be replaced.  After public input and design revisions, the City will be replacing F Dock to be a pump out float only and will add water and power pedestals to E Float.  This work will be divided into two projects with the intent of completing both by the beginning of the 2015 boating season.  Project Scope   Schedule

Priest Point Park Shelter #4 - New

A new shelter, similar to Shelter #3, will be built near the playground at Priest Point Park.  This project will also include an accessible path from the parking area to the new shelter.  Construction will begin Fall 2014.  Learn more about Priest Point Park.  

 Yauger Access Trail Improvements and Pump Track

A new pump track will be built at Yauger Park next to the skate court.  The project is underway and will be completed soon. This project will also create a "barrier-free" pedestrian connection trail between the Alta St. park entrance and Cooper Point Road. The trail will be constructed in phases over the next year.

 Kettle View Bike Shelter

A new covered bike shelter will be constructed between the restroom and shelter at Kettle View Park.  Construction will begin in 2015. Learn more about Kettle View Park.
