Isthmus Grant Application

The City of Olympia has applyed for a $200,000 US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Brownfield Cleanup Grant for the two city-owned Isthmus properties located at 529 4th Avenue W and at 505 4th Avenue W. Learn more.



Percival Landing F-Dock Replacement

The City will replace the F-Dock at Percival Landing as well as install a new vessel pump-out station to be ready for the 2015 boating season. The reconstructed F-Float will include water and power for transient moorage. Learn more about Percival Landing.


Olympia Woodland Trail Feasibility Study Update

The Department is in the process of updating the feasibility study for OWT Phases III and IV. The study will look at alignments for the trail segments from Tumwater Historical Park to Henderson Boulevard. Learn more about the trail.


Artesian Commons Improvements

Improvements to the Artesian Commons will begin January 2014.  The purpose of this project is to transform the currently under-used parking lot into an urban outdoor courtyard, which will include amenities such as electrical connections for mobile vending units, table and chairs, potted plants and an accessible porta-potty. A Grand Opening is scheduled for May 2014. View the Concept Plan.


Priest Point Park Shelter #4 - New

A new shelter, similar to Shelter #3, will be built near the playground at Priest Point Park.  This project will also include an accessible path from the parking area to the new shelter.  Construction will begin Spring 2014.  Learn more about Priest Point Park.  


 Yauger Access Trail Improvements

This project will create a "barrier-free" pedestrian connection trail between  Cooper Point Road and 5th Ave SW. The trail will be constructed in phases over the next year.

 Kettle View Bike Shelter

A new covered bike shelter will be constructed between the restroom and shelter at Kettle View Park.  Construction will begin Summer 2014. Learn more about Kettle View Park.
