Engineering Design and Development Standards
About the EDDS
The Engineering Design and Development Standards (EDDS) are the standards used to govern new construction (City and private development) within the City of Olympia. This includes modifications to transportation, storm drainage, drinking water, reclaimed water, wastewater, and solid waste facilities.
The EDDS establish the process for requesting a deviation from standards, professional qualification requirements, and plan review requirements. The EDDS are updated every two years upon City Council approval.
