Bio

Nathaniel JonesNathaniel Jones was elected to a four year term at position #3 in 2012. He was reelected to a second four year term in November 2015. His current term ends December 31, 2019.

Nathaniel is a Board Member for South Sound Habitat for Humanity, which is currently building 33 single-family, owner-occupied homes in southwest Lacey, and Nathaniel is a member of the five-state Safe Energy Leadership Alliance, which is working on public policy improvements for the safe transport of coal and petroleum.

Nathaniel has worn several hats in his career, as a transportation planner, as the Development Director of a seven-county non-profit agency, as the Capital Program Director for a large, local public agency, and currently as the Infrastructure Manager for the State Capitol Campus, here in Olympia.

Nathaniel spent his childhood as the son of a Naval Officer and has traveled far and wide. His greatest pride comes from his two adult daughters who attended Olympia and North Thurston schools. His wife Kathleen is a Nurse Practitioner with Group Health, who as a midwife, has delivered thousands of babies, most of whom still live in the South Sound region.
