Heritage Park Fountain Block:
The City has committed to completing acquisition and development of the Heritage Park Fountain block for a park. Olympia has acquired all parcels except the southwest corner (Traditions Cafe building). The likelihood is high that environmental remediation will be needed since there was formerly a gas station on the site. Also, the existing fountain park has a small area of contamination that needs to be cleaned with the next phase of park development.
Estimated cost for acquisition, demolition, environmental clean-up, improvements: $2.273 million
