Budget 365 is our budget process designed to inform and educate citizens about how to get involved in the City's decision-making process.

This year-round conversation will help us better understand which programs are the highest priorities for our citizens and more quickly identify potential financial issues.

Before adopting a final operating budget in December, we hold a variety of public meetings and hearings. Your attendance and input is appreciated.

October 17 - City Council Public Hearing and discussion on Preliminary CFP

October 24 - Preliminary Operating Budget Presented to Council

November 21 - Public Hearing on Operating Budget, Capital Budget including Olympia School District Impact Fees and Ad Valorem Tax Ordinance

November 28 - Council Review of the Budget (Budget Balancing - Operating and Capital Budgets), Final Reading of Ad Valorem Tax Ordinance

December 12 - First Reading on Operating and Capital Budgets

December 19 - Second and Final Reading and Adoption of Operating and Capital Budgets

Observe the City's Finance Committee Year Round

The Finance Committee meets the second Wednesday of each month at 5:00 pm at City Hall to discuss the City's revenues and expenses. Your attendance is always welcome.
