Greenhouse Gas Emissions 2008 Annual Report:

2008 is Olympia's first year reporting municipal greenhouse gas emissions using the same standard protocols from our 2005 baseline emissions report. This annual report documents greenhouse gas emissions from municipal operations including; buildings, vehicle fleet, street lighting, water and wastewater, and solid waste. It also recommends new emissions targets for Olympia. View the 2008 Annual Report  for more information.

Greenhouse Gas Emissions 2005 Baseline Report: 

In 2007, Olympia's Climate Change Report recommended development of a greenhouse gas emissions inventory. In 2008, Olympia produced this inventory using standard methodology for a base year of 2005. View the 2005 Baseline Report  for more information.

1991 Climate Action Plan:

Olympia was one of the first local jurisdictions in the United States to develop a plan for responding to climate change. This groundbreaking 1991 report marks the beginning of the City's long committment of taking action to both mitigate greenhouse gas emissions and prepare for a changing climate. many City initiatives that began with this report are still going strong today.
