Whether looking for adventure, athletic challenge, culture or just plain fun, we've got something for everyone. Gymnastics, art classes, Hawaiian dance, vegetarian cooking, Tai Chi, Yoga, Italian, dog obedience and computer basics are just a sample of the classes available. Kayaking, river rafting, snowshoeing, and hiking open up the great outdoors.

Kids can play their summers and school breaks away in any of our day camps, Sports for Life, or outdoor camps - Windsurfing and Sailing, Rock Climbing, Mountain Biking or Leader in Training. Drop in sports, league play, track and field meets, martial arts, soccer and golf lessons will help you get in shape and burn off extra energy!

Olympia Parks, Arts & Recreation is all about safety, enrichment and most of all - FUN! Come play with us!

Recreation for Special Populations

The Olympia Parks, Arts & Recreation Department is proud to be working with Thurston County Parks and Recreation to provide programs to meet recreational needs of the special citizens in the Olympia/Thurston County area. Programs include camps, Adult and Youth Day Trips, Dances, Movie & Pizza, and Arts & Crafts.
